Behind Glennie, Women's Cross Country Ends Season On High Note

Westfield, Mass. – Junior star Kristen Glennie (Standish, Maine) led a Clark women's cross country contingent that finished 27th overall at the NCAA New England Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon at Stanley State Park.

The finish for the Cougars is their best finish in nine seasons at the regional event. For Glennie, who earned all-conference honors in her last race at the league championships two weeks ago, set a new school record in the 6K with a time of 22:54.

The Finish Line:
Kristen Glennie finished in 68th place (22:54.6).
Nicolina Braccio (Nashua, N.H.) finished in 108th place (23:29.06).
Maddy Doyle (Middleborough, Mass.) was 124th (24:32.3).
Talia Neuhaus (Skokie, Ill.) finished 255th (25:47.5).
Shannon Reault (Tyngsboro, Mass.) turned in a 263 rd place effort (25:52.91).

"Overall a great ending to an incredible season," said Clark University head coach, Bill Gray. "They brought it every weekend and Kristen's race was a real testament to all of her hard work."
