Five Women Harriers Named Academic All-Conference

Boston, Mass. - Five members of the Clark University women's cross country team have been named to the New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's cross country Academic All-Conference team it was announced recently by Executive Director Patrick Summers.

Diana Argiles-Castillo (San Jose, Costa Rica), Camille Bales (Portland, Ore.), Rachel Donnelly-Cokinos (Munsey, N.Y.), Liza French (Middleboro, Mass.) and Emily Monahan-Morang (Freeport, Maine) were just four of 55 student-athletes in the sport honored conference-wide.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2016 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The Clark women's cross country team is back in action on Saturday when they take part in the NEWMAC Championships at Smith College.
