Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Strong at Worcester City Championships

Worcester, Mass. - Women's Swimming and Diving finished up their second day at the Worcester City Championships on Saturday. Two Clark groups swam in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. Finishing 7th for Clark in a field of 20 with a finish time of 1:47.53 were Amelia Muratori (Southbury, CT)Allison Dubick (Comwall, NY)Quinn Mitchell (West Hartford, Conn), and Elizabeth Cownie (Concord, Mass).

Sylvie Hack (East Greenwich, RI), represented Clark in the 200 Yard Freestyle. She finished with a time of 2:29:90. She also swam in the 200 Yard Backstroke finishing with a time of 2:37.45. 

Emma Bulman (Bridgewater, Mass)swam in the 100 Yard Backstroke, touching the wall with a time of 1:13:78.

Three swimmers competed in the 100 Yard Breaststroke. Mira Siewert (Westbrook, Conn)led the Clark group with a thirteenth finish in a large field of 22. Her time was 1:15.22

Quinn Mitchelland Alison Falder, (New Milford, Conn)represented Clark in the 200 Yard Butterfly. They finished with times of 2:26.56 and 2:31.44 respectively.

Clark senior Amelia Muratori placed fourth in a large field of 25 swimmers for the 50 yard freestyle with a time 25.77. She had another solid swim placing 8th in the 100 yard freestyle putting in a time of 57.45.

In the 200 yard medley, Clark came in 8th out of 19 with the strong swimming of Allison DubickMira SiewertQuinn Mitchell, and Amelia Muratori

In the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, Clark took 10th  out of 19 with Amelia MuratoriAllison DubickQuinn Mitchell, and Ali Falder.

Quinn Mitchellhad a good showing in the 100 Yard Butterfly. She came in 7th out of 29 swimmers with a time of 1:02.07. 

Clark returns to the pool on November 10th at Bridgewater State.
