Women's Swimming and Diving compete in four events at Worcester City Championship

Worcester, Mass. -  The Clark University Women's Swimming & Diving team competed at day one the Worcester City Championships, hosted by Worcester Polytechnical Institute on Friday night. Assumption College, an NCAA Division II team, leads the pack with a total of 238 points. 

Finishing eighth in the Women's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 8:44.15 were seniors, Amelia Muratori (Southbury, Conn), Quinn Mitchell (West Hartford, Conn), Mira Siewert (Westbrook, Conn), and sophomore Allison Dubick (Cornwall, NY). 

In the third event of the day, the Women's 200 Yard IM, Elizabeth Cownie (Concord, Mass) finished with a time of 2:38.97, and Jacie Carson (Eugene, Ore) touched the wall at 2:49.07. 

In the Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle, Alison Falder (New Milford, Conn) finished with a time of 11:59.01, and her teammate, Olivia Winters (Maplewood, NJ), finished at 12:50.16

Clark sent two teams into the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Pacing the Cougars with a finish time of 4:22.85 were Allison Dubick, Mira Siewert, Quinn Mitchell, and Amelia Muratori. Finishing with a time of 4:58.92 were Emma Bulman (Bridgewater, Mass), Olivia Winters, Jacie Carson, and Elizabeth Cownie.

Clark returns to pool at 10AM tomorrow for the second day of the Worcester City Championships.
