Worcester, Mass. – For the second dual meet in a row, Quinn Mitchell (West Hartford, Conn.) set a new school record and five other Clark University student-athletes won individual events as the Cougars swam past Brandeis University, 165-117 on Saturday afternoon in a non-league women's meet at the Kneller Center Pool.
Less than 72 hours after establishing a new record in the 50-yard butterfly in Wednesday's meet at WPI, Mitchell shaved even more time off of her newly minted school record, taking top honors in the event in a time of 26.80. Later, Mitchell went on to breeze to a first-place showing in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.00).
