Women's Soccer Places 15 on 2018 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team

WESTWOOD, Mass. - The Clark University women's soccer team placed 15 student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) 2018 Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office on Wednesday. A total of 103 student-athletes were honored.

Sophomores Taylor Barbieri (Glastonbury, Conn.), Carly Bernstein (Storrs, Conn.), Sarah Berube (Wilmington, Mass.), Danielle Black (Middleboro, Mass.), Autumn Dauksz (Shrewsbury, Mass.), Deanna D'Innocenzo (Medway, Mass.), Inonge Kaloustian (Bowie, Md.), Janiah Lambert (Piscataway, N.J.), and Abby Souza (Hope, R.I.), juniors Sara Conroy (Clifton Park, N.Y.), Bailey Glenn (Middleboro, Mass.), and Megan Marocco (Swampscott, Mass.), and seniors Macy Golman (Dallas, Texas), Eliza Meltzer (Framingham, Mass.), and Rylee Simons (Weston, Fla.) made up the 15 Clark University women's soccer recipients.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2017 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference consists of 11 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
