-The Falcon's best chance of the evening came last in the second half when Elicia Marshall (Taunton, Mass.) threaded a through ball just past the outstretched attempt from Mikaela Mitchell (Millbury, Mass.).

-Freshman Morgan Small (Quakertown, Penn.) posted two saves for her first collegiate victory.
- Amanda Hem (Lowell, Mass.) made five saves in relief of goaltender Sarah Hemmings (Eastham, Mass.).
QUOTE FROM JAMIE JOSEPH
"Fitchburg's defense definitely made us work for it, but with the help of every single member of the team we were able to put one away, which is all we needed to secure the win. Nearing the post season, it's encouraging to have not only a winning record, but a team that is as hungry as we are".
-The Falcons return to action on Saturday when they host the Vikings of Salem State University at 12:30 p.m.
-Clark will host Mount Holyoke in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action next Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
