Worcester, Mass. – In conjunction with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Training Week, Clark University women's soccer head coach Brie Smith will host a free coaches only training session on Tuesday, April 4th it has been announced.
More than 200 college and professional teams across the United States are registered to participate in NSCAA Open Training Week.
The training session will be held from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the home of Clark women's soccer – Granger Turf Field.
"The NSCAA does a wonderful job promoting coaching education and this is an excellent initiative," said Smith. "I am excited to participate and I look forward to attending sessions offered at other local programs."
The nationwide initiative, led by new NSCAA President Charlie Slagle, will provide an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments, observe high-level training sessions and learn from one another.
Coaches can RSVP online and the event is free to attend and you do NOT need to be an NSCAA member to attend. Attendees who are not current NSCAA members will receive a free, six-month trial membership for participating in NSCAA Open Training Week.
