Pioneers Halt Women's Soccer, 4-0

Northampton, Mass. Smith College junior Jordan Isaacs erupted for three goals in the first half leading the host Pioneers to a convincing 4-0 win over Clark University in New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened:
After nearly a full half of scoreless play, the Pioneers scored all four goals in a five minute span late in the first half. Isaacs got it going with help from Kenza Mdarhri-Alaoui at exactly 35:00.

Isaacs then reversed roles less than two minutes later when she connected with Meredith Roberts at 36:40.

Smith increased their lead to 3-0 when Isaacs tacked on her second of the day with an unassisted tally in the 39th minute.

The Pioneers concluded the scoring when Isaacs completed the hat trick after Seri Park set her up at 39:30.

Julianna Christy (Plainville, Conn.) suffered her first loss, allowing four goals and making four saves.
