I'm a management major, double minoring in Entrepreneurship and Communications.
Next year I will be working toward getting my MBA through the accelerated fifth-year program here at Clark.
I'm still in the process of figuring out what I really enjoy doing. I'm interested in marketing and event coordinating, specifically in fitness-related areas, so ideally a career that falls into those categories.
What Do You Like Most About Being A Student-Athlete?
The best part about being a student-athlete is being able to spend a couple of months out of the school year playing a sport that I love with a group of girls that I consider family.
At the moment I'm really enjoying my Entrepreneurship Capstone—it's a very hands on and interactive learning environment. We've only been in classes for a couple of weeks now, but I can already tell I will be able to take away a lot from the course.
I initially started looking at Clark because my dad works here and my brother went here, but Clark grew on me quickly. I can't think of a place that better encourages individuality. This university fully embraces diversity and that alone has made my college experience so unique and positive.
What Is The Best Part About Going To School On An Urban Campus?
The best part about going to school on an urban campus is all of the local social and cultural opportunities. Having grown up right outside of Boston, I like the liveliness of being in a city.
What Is Your Dream Job?
I would gladly take over for Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
What Is Your Favorite Part Of Being A Student At Clark?
It's nice to be able to walk across campus and actually know the majority of people you run into. There's such a strong sense of community here and it allows you to make stronger connections with both faculty as well as other students.
What Do You Know Now That You Wish You Knew As A Freshman?
I guess this is pretty cliche, but college really does go by so quickly. It's important to take advantage of new opportunities because many of them may not present themselves a second time.
