Julie Beer was beginning to reacclimate herself to her Alma mater’s campus on a humid Wednesday afternoon in August. It seemed to be a busy first day for the former Centre College women’s lacrosse coach, who was in the process of setting-up her email account, which happened to be the same one she had as a student at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts before graduating in 2007.
Worcester, Mass.-- Julie Beer ‘07 has been named the first head women's lacrosse coach at Clark University as announced by Director of Athletics and Recreation, Trish Cronin on Tuesday morning. The athletic department announced the addition of the 18th varsity sport back in April. The program will begin competing in a full New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) schedule in the spring of 2020.
Worcester, Mass.—The Clark University Athletic Department has announced the 2018 Fall Game Schedules. The season kicks off on Friday, August 31st when Men's Soccer travels to Castleton State and Field Hockey travels to Simmons College.

The women’s lacrosse program will be Clark University’s 18th varsity sport. Clark currently sponsors 17 intercollegiate sport programs; eight men’s teams and nine women’s teams.
