Worcester, Mass. - Women's rowing was back in action this weekend, competing in the Head of the Snake Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond. Though the weather was rainy, that didn't stop two Clark boats from making waves. Clark competed in the following races:
Racing in the Novice Eight for Clark were Jessie Klitus-Flaim (Easthampton, Mass), Kate Brown (Waban, Mass), Cora Flynn (Chelmsford, Mass), Maddie Hincher (Gorham, Maine), Alice Frankie Hurley (Seattle, Wash), Alfonsina Esteva (Conconut Grove, Fla), Shannon Reault (Tyngsboro, Mass), Sydney Macedo (Kennebunk, Maine), Elena Sissell (Media, Penn). They finished with a time of 19:03.366.00, good enough for a sixth place finish—well above boats from Simmons, WPI, and Middlebury.
Competing in the Varsity Eight for Clark were Halley Glier (Shelburne, Mass), Emily Ladda (Farmington, Conn), Emily Thibault (Williamsville, Vt), Ella Scott (Hope, Maine), Jessica Martinez (Amherst, Mass), Hannah Honig (Stow, Mass), Paige Taylor (Great Barrington, Mass), Grace Schiaffo (Florence, Mass), and Kayla Rich (Billerica, Mass). They finished with a time of 16:54:299.
Clark returns to the water on Sunday, at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts.
