Worcester, Mass.- The Clark Men's Tennis program moves to 7-7 on the year with their defeat of Regis. The home match started in the Cougars' favor and continued that way through the end. Regis falls to 6-7 on the year after losing 7-2 this afternoon.
-Nicholas Mathieu (Topsham, ME) was the victor in the No. 1 singles match. In two sets, he won 6-2 and 7-6.
-The No. 2 singles went to Clark as well. Max Schweitzer (West Hartford, CT) won his match in two sets by scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
-Also winning in straight sets was Clark's Christian Ruebens (Chesire, CT) in No. 3 singles.
-Regis's first team point was in No. 4 singles. Alex Hattenbach (Wilton, CT) fell to Cam Charbonneau 3-6, 4-6.
-Mitchell Weiner of Regis won the No. 5 singles match over Clark's Ian Levy (Needham, MA).
-Jacob Malicky (South Egremont, MA) claimed another point for Clark in the No. 6 spot. He won the match in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.
-Mathieu and Ruebens were on their game today in the No. 1 doubles match for Clark. They won 8-3 to seal the victory.
-Clark duo Malicky and Schweitzer won their match 8-4 over their No. 2 opponents.
-Clark battles NEWMAC foe Emerson on Wednesday, April 3rd. The home match kicks off at 4:00PM in Worcester.
-Regis plays three matches in the next five days, starting with a match-up at Eastern Nazarene on April 2nd (3:30PM).
