Men's Tennis Drops Match with Wabash

THE BASICS

-The Lead: The Clark University men's tennis team fell to Wabash University in their first match in Florida on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-William Reifeis and Paick McAuley earned an 8-1 victory at #1 doubles for Wabash over Clark's Christian Ruebens (Cheshire, Conn.) and Jose Dalla-Valle (Miami, Fla.).

-Clark's Lenny Siegel (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Andrey Samodaev (Boca Raton, Fla.) fell to Jordan Greenwell and Kirill Ivashchenko, 8-2, in #2 doubles.

-Geirge Go III and Nicholas Pollock finished up doubles for Wabash with an 8-2 victory over Jack Han (Bakersfield, Calif.) and Jacob Malicky (South Egremont, Mass.).

-Ruebens put up a good fight with Reifeis in #1 singles but Reifeis took the ultimate victory with scores of 7-6 and 7-5

-Dalla-Valle also competed will with McAuley but fell by final scores of 6-3 and 7-6 at #2 singles. Jordan Greenwell took the victory over Siegel at #3 singles with final scores of 6-1 and 6-3.

- Ivashchenko took 6-2 and 6-4 victories over Han to earn the victory at #4 singles.

-Pollock and Go III took the final two victories for Wabash at $5 singles and #6 singles over Samodaev and Malicky.
