Cougars Drop Fourth Straight, 8-1

Worcester, Mass. - Freshman Diego Angel (Lima, Peru) provided host Clark with its only point as visiting Springfield College rolled to an 8-1 win in New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's tennis action on Wednesday afternoon at Corash Tennis Courts.

Angel's victory came at No. 1 as he defeated the Pride's Trevor Romanzi in straight sets (6-2, 6-2).

Wednesday's loss to Springfield marked the first time this season that the Cougars lost all three doubles matches.

Clark returns to the courts on Saturday with road contest at Wheaton.
