Men's Swimming and Diving Competes at Worcester City Championship

Worcester, Mass. -  On Friday night, the Clark University Men's Swimming & Diving team competed at the Worcester City Championships, a two day event, hosted by Worcester Polytechnical Institute. After day one, WPI is the clear leader coming in first in all of the men's events with a total of 278 points.

Konstantin Drallios (Astoria, NY) competed in the Men's 200 Yard IM, finishing in 8th place with a time of 2:08.46. Dylan Schrama (Taunton, Mass) and Sebastian Ortega (West Palm Beach, Fla) finished in 15th and 16th, and Nick Sakoff (New York, NY) finished with a time of 2:14.66.

Brandon Shafer (Honeoye Falls, NY) touched the wall at 2:25.65. Eric Cobert (Newton, Mass) finished 5th in the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:59.58. Also competing in the event for Clark were Daniel Broderick (Tolland, Conn) , Matt Finnigan (Rutland, Mass) and Will Russell (Cumberland, Maine)

Finishing out the day, Konstantin Drallios and Nick Sakoff competed in the 400 Yard Medley Relay.

Clark returns to the pool tomorrow for day two of the Worcester City Championship at 10AM.
