Boston, Mass. – After a high scoring pair of games to begin his junior season, Clark University lacrosse star Will Mandracchia (Melrose, Mass.) has been named New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) offensive player of the week on Monday it has been announced.

Mandracchia opened up his third season in the Scarlet and White with an incredibly explosive attack, racking up nine points in the first two games.

In the Cougars' 16-4 win over Johnson and Wales, Mandracchia finished with two goals and two assists.

Then, in Clark's 10-8 loss at Salve Regina last Saturday, he finished with two more goals and had three assists.

It marks the second time in his career that Mandracchia has scooped up the weekly award.

Mandracchia and the Cougars return to action on Wednesday when they hit the road to face off against Skidmore College at 6:00 p.m.
