Seven Named to Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad

GILBERT, AZ - Over 1,700 student-athletes representing 149 schools have been selected to the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. This year, Clark University Field Hockey placed seven individuals on the squad: Olivia Barksdale (Fort Washington, Md.), Anjelica Gonzalez (Merrimack, N.H.), Anna Joyce (Hopkinton, Mass.), Haley Mahan (Bedford, N.H.), Dani Michaud (Providence, R.I.), Mikayla Pantano (East Bridgewater, Mass.) and Sophia Poulin (Londonderry, N.H.). This was Mahan's fourth consecutive NFHCA DIII National Academic Squad recognition.

The Division III National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

The Field Hockey team was also awarded the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award for posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall Semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
