Four From Field Hockey Named Academic All-Conference

Boston, Mass. – Four Clark University field hockey student-athletes have been named to the 2016 New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference team it was announced this afternoon by Executive Director Patrick Summers.

Olivia Cotton (Northampton, Mass.), Gaby Deangelis (Bayville, N.Y.), Haley Mahan (Bedford, N.H.) and Alyssa Williams (New Sharon, Maine) were all selected to the distinguished group of honorees.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2016 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at his institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

With freshmen not be eligible to receive the honor, it marks the first selection for the sophomore DeAngelis, while the junior Mahan has earned two selections and the two seniors Cotton and Williams collect their third.
