Late Goal Sends Blazers Past Field Hockey,1-0

Chicopee, Mass. – Madison Messier scored the game's lone goal in the 67th minute and host Elms College stole a 1-0 win over Clark University in non-league field hockey action on Tuesday evening.

How It Happened:
The game looked like it was headed for extra time when Messier scored her team-leading fourth marker of the season in the 67th minute, send the host Blazers to victory.

Clark controlled the contest but couldn't break through, outshooting Elms 15-3 and recording a 15-0 edge in penalty corners.

Elms' goalkeeper, Jillian Lapponese made eight saves to earn the victory for the Blazers, while her counterpart, Dani Michaud (Providence, R.I.) made just one save for the Scarlet and White.
