Josh Kieffer begins his thrid year in the dugout at Clark University in 2018. Kieffer’s primary responsibility is working with the Cougars' catchers. He will also works with the hitters and assist with the pitching staff.
“Having Josh on our staff is a real luxury,” said head coach J.P. Pyne. “His ability to develop young catchers makes a big impact on our program. He is an excellent young coach and I believe he has a bright future in this business.”
The Millheim, Pa. native made his collegiate coaching debut in 2016, but has extensive coaching experience at a variety of levels.
Most recently, Kieffer served as an assistant coach at Concord (Mass.) Academy. Prior to that he spent two years on the staff at Concord-Carlisle High School.
Kieffer spent the summer of 2016 on the coaching staff of the Chatham Anglers of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, under legendary skipper John Schiffner. In his role, he worked with top players from around the nation.
Kieffer has also worked with the New England Blazers AAU program, serving as both an instructor and as a head coach.
The Westminster College alum was a four-year letter winner behind the plate, helping lead the Titans to the postseason in three of his four years.
Kieffer is single and resides in Weston, Mass.
