Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Earn Scholar All-America Team Honors from CSCAA

Norfolk, Va. – The Clark University men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America Team honors for academic excellence during the 2018 spring semester, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The CSCAA honors college and university swimming and diving teams who have attained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The Clark University men's swimming and diving team finished with a 3.05 cumulative GPA while the women finished with a cumulative 3.43 GPA. Leading the men's team, Rowan Moody (Ellington, Conn.) was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference team earlier in the spring for achieving at least a 3.5 GPA. Senior Charlotte Gray (Sandy Hook, Conn.) along with juniors Jacie Carson (Eugene, Ore.) and Mira Siewert (Westbrook, Conn.) led the women as they were recognized by the NEWMAC for holding a 3.5 GPA or higher during the spring semester.

The CSCAA named 710 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2018 Semester.  The teams represent 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions.
