Worcester, Mass.--Clark University women's volleyball junior, Rayme Quiban (Seattle, Wash.) was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) New England All-Region Team and the AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Team. Senior Marina Ramos (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) was named to the AVCA New England All-Region Honorable Mention Team.
Quiban led Clark and the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) in digs and digs per set this season with 546 total digs (5.41 digs/set). She was named the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the week three times this season and helped lead the Cougars to a NEWMAC Quarterfinal appearance.
Ramos led the Clark University volleyball team and the New England Women and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC ) with 449 total kills over the 2017 season. She averaged a conference leading 4.58 kills per set and was named to the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team. Ramos helped lead the Cougars to the NEWMAC Quarterfinals and was named the NEWMAC player of the week once in 2017. She has been selected to participate in the New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic on December 3, 2017.
