Cougars Roll Past Bears In Non-League Dual Meet
Bridgewater, Mass. - The two Clark swimming and
diving teams took first place in 20 of the 26 events, including the
first six and cruised to wins in a non-league dual meet at
Bridgewater State on Wednesday.
The men's score was Clark 153-53, while the women won 136-74.
On the women's side, sophomore All-America Eileen
Garcia (New York, N.Y.) swept both the one-meter and
three-meter diving events, setting a new school record in the

Erin Smith (Carrollton, Texas) were multiple event
winners for Clark, who improved to 4-0 on the season.
The Cougar men also had multiple event winners. Graduate student
Mike Smith (Milford, Conn.) finished first in both
the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle and sophomore
Lamar Duffy (Pen Argyl, Pa.) picked up a pair of
wins in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly.
Both Clark teams are back in action on Saturday, December 5 at
