Ten Rowers Named To ECAC All-Academic Team

Centerville, Mass. – Ten members of the Clark University men's and women's rowing program have been named to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) and National Intercollegiate Rowing Championship Stewards All-Academic team it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

To receive All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

A total of 355 student-athletes from 27 institutions earned the distinction for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The ten honored from Clark are as follows: Dana Alasker (Fountain Valley, Calif.), Katie Baldyga (Unionville, Conn.), Rebecca Chapman (Austin, Texas), Alex MacDonald (Saco, Maine), William Pew (Montclair, N.J.), Paige Roscoe (Gardner, Mass.), Andrei Shylo (Worcester, Mass.), Alex Wheeler (Asheville, N.C.), Rose Williams (Boston, Mass.), and Zena Wolf (Chevy Chase, Md.).
