Cougars Wrap Up Season At New Englands

Worcester, Mass. - The Clark men's and women's rowing teams wrapped up their 2010 season with the New England Rowing Championships on Saturday afternoon on Lake Quinsigamond.

The men's second varsity four turned in the program's best finish, registering a fourth place finish in the grand finale with a time of 7:35.92, behind Vermont, Middlebury and URI.

The men's varsity four didn't qualify for the grand finale in their event, but turned in a second place finish in the petite final (7:21.44) behind only URI.

A sixth place finish for the men's novice four (7:58.06) wrapped up the men's races, while the women's varsity four also recorded a sixth place finish with a time of 8:37.98.

The women's second varsity four was seventh in their grand finale, posting a time of 9:14.01.
