Men's Cross Country Places Fifth at Worcester City Championship

Paxton, Mass.--The Clark University women's cross country team placed second while the men's team placed fifth overall in the Worcester City Championship at Moore State Park in Paxton, Mass. on Saturday afternoon.

Kristen Glennie (Standish, Maine) led Clark placing third with a final time of 20:58. Nicolina Braccio (Nashua, N.H.) followed her lead placing fifth overall for the women with a final time of 21:12.

The women finished second overall with a total team score of 48.

Ryan VanDine (Bolton, Conn.) led the way for the Clark University men's cross country team, finishing with a time of 32:27. Senior Cameron Mitchell (Medford, Mass.) and freshman Bobby Sharma (Kobe, Hyogo) checked in shortly after at 32:59 and 33:12 respectively.

The men placed fifth overall with a team score of 131.

The Worcester State University women's cross country team took the victory today with 22 total points while Worcester Polytechnic Institute placed first overall for the men with a team score of 15.
