Judges Get 1-0 Decision Over Cougars
Waltham, Mass. – Host Brandeis got the game’s only goal in the 12 th minute and made it stand as the Judges posted a 1-0 win over visiting Clark University in men’s soccer action on Saturday evening on Gordon Field.
Brandeis senior Steve Keuchkarian scored an unassisted goal at the 11:49 mark and the Judges defense held the Cougar offense to just three shots for the entire contest.
The win for Brandeis sends their season-opening win streak to three, while Clark who scored 14 goals in their first three games, have been shutout in their last two.
Ryan King (Brimfield, Mass.) turned back five shots for the Cougars while the Judges’ Taylor Bracken needed to only make one stop to post his third consecutive shutout.
Clark will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they host Thomas College at 7:00 p.m.
