Clark University juniors Trevor Hendry (Waterford, Conn.) and Kenny Howard (Longmeadow, Mass.) were both named to the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men’s soccer second-team it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Cougars Stunned At Home By Babson, 3-2
In need of a win to secure the program’s 13th straight appearance in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference men’s soccer tournament, host Clark saw its 2-1 lead late in the second half slip away and visiting Babson recorded a dramatic 3-2 double-overtime win on Saturday at Granger Soccer Field.

Senior Baran Doenmez (Dublin, N.H.) was named New England Womens and Mens Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) mens soccer player of the week it was announced on Monday by the conference office. Doenmez had a standout week for the Cougars who went 1-0-1 in two games last week. In Clarks 4-3 come-from-behind win over Lasell, Doenmez had a goal and an assist on the game-winning goal.
