Cohen To Coach At 68th Annual North/South All Star Game
Baltimore, Md. - First-year Clark lacrosse head
coach Jeff Cohen has been selected to serve as an
assistant coach at the 68th annual USILA/Lax World North/South
Senior All-Star Games it was announced recently.
Cohen, who was named the 2010 Pilgrim League Coach of the Year
following a season in which he resurrected the Cougar program,
moving them from 2-13 in 2009 prior to his arrival to 6-8 in
2010.
Under Cohen's watch, Clark won four straight games in the heart of
the season and Shawn Roche (Centerport, N.Y.)
became the program's all-time leading scorer and first-ever
first-team all-conference performer.
He will be a part of the staff of the Division I/II North Team,
which will be headed up by Colgate head coach Jim Nagle. Cohen was
a part of Nagle's staff for five seasons prior to his arrival at
Clark, helping the Raiders to their first Patriot League
Championship and subsequent NCAA Tournament appearance.
The games will take place at Goucher College in Baltimore on Friday
May 28 as part of a doubleheader during the NCAA Division I Men's
Lacrosse Final Four weekend.
The Division III game will be played at 3:00 p.m. and the Division
I/II game will be played at 5:30 p.m.
