12 Named To NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad

Chandler, Ariz. – 12 Clark University field hockey student-athletes have been named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI / National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad it was announced by Executive Director Jennifer Goodrich.

Melanie Borglund (Westboro, Mass.), Olivia Cotton (Northampton, Mass.), Sarah Cramer (Wynnewood, Pa.), Tali Fish (Philadelphia, Pa.), Kellee Kosiorek (Enfield, N.H.), Zoe LaFranceArmstrong (Old Orchard Beach, Maine), Lauren Mackey (Dublin, N.H.), Celine Manneville (Columbia, Md.), Molly McPhee (Durham, N.H.), Erin O'Neil (Willington, Conn.), Megan Tighe (Simsbury, Conn.) and Alyssa Williams (New Sharon, Maine).

Fish, Kosiorek and O'Neill are all four-time honorees, while Cramer and McPhee are both receiving their second straight honor.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

In addition to the 12 student-athletes honored, the team was the recipient of one of the National Academic Team Award. It recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.
