O'Brien Softball Field

O'Brien Field, home of the Clark University softball team is located about a mile from campus.

It is one of the finest softball fields in New England. The complex includes dugouts, pitching pens, an equipment building/press box, bathroom facilities and parking. 

From The East And West (Boston, Hartford and New York):
Massachusetts Turnpike I-90. Take Exit 10 to I-290 East toward Worcester. Take Exit 11 (College Square/Southbridge Street) off I-290. Continue straight ahead on Southbridge Street to the second stop light and take a sharp left onto Cambridge Street. At the third light – a few miles – cross over Main Street and stay to the right. Take a quick right turn onto Mill Street (Mobil Gas station on right). Go one block to the next traffic light and turn right onto Park Avenue. Follow Park Avenue to the 4th stop light, at that light turn left onto May Street. Follow May Street to the 1st stop light, at that light turn left onto June Street. Take the second left off of June Street onto Knowles Road. The field is 1/3 mile directly at the end of the road. Drive up the embankment and park adjacent to the field. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN DEAD-END CIRCLE AT THE END OF KNOWLES ROAD.

From The North:
Rt. 495 to I-495 South to I-290 West, Exit 25B. From I-290 West take Exit 11 (College Square, Southbridge Street). Bear left coming off the ramp onto Southbridge Street. Continue straight ahead on Southbridge Street to the second stop light and take a sharp left onto Cambridge Street. At the third light – a few miles – cross over Main Street and stay to the right. Take a quick right turn onto Mill Street (Mobil Gas station on right). Go one block to the next traffic light and turn right onto Park Avenue. Follow Park Avenue to the 4th stop light, at that light turn left onto May Street. Follow May Street to the 1st stop light, at that light turn left onto June Street. Take the second left off of June Street onto Knowles Road. The field is 1/3 mile directly at the end of the road. Drive up the embankment and park adjacent to the field. From The Southeast:

From The South (Providence, Rhode Island):
Take Route 146 North to Exit 12 (122A North - McKeon Road/Vernon Hill). At the lights take a left onto Millbury Street. At the first traffic light, take a left and then proceed through two sets of lights onto McKeon Road. Follow McKeon Road to the end and take a left onto Cambridge Street. After the traffic light at the corner of Cambridge and Southbridge Streets go one mile to the end of Cambridge Street, Take a sharp right onto Main Street. Go to the second traffic light at Downing Street. Take a left onto Downing Street. Follow Downing Street to the end, then turn right onto Park Avenue. At the next light, turn right onto May Street. Follow May Street to the 1st stop light, at that light turn left onto June Street. Take the second left off of June Street onto Knowles Road. The field is 1/3 mile directly at the end of the road. Drive up the embankment and park adjacent to the field. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN DEAD-END CIRCLE AT THE END OF KNOWLES ROAD.
