Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Executive Board
Executive Board
• SAAC President (a junior or senior) works with the
advisor(s) to set the agenda for the EB meetings and chairs the EB
and SAAC meetings; represents SAAC whenever and wherever
appropriate.
• SAAC Vice-President (a sophomore or junior) acts in the
absence of the President; oversees SAAC committees; and attends
NEWMAC SAAC meetings.
• SAAC Communication Director records attendance for meetings;
takes minutes for SAAC and EB meetings; and works with the Sports
Information Director to update the SAAC web site.
• SAAC Treasurer approves all expenditures; provides a report
at SAAC meetings; and is responsible for organizing the 50-50
raffle held during the high school tournament.
• Chair of Intra-Team Support organizes activities/events that
will foster better support between teams and athletes.
• Chair of Campus Engagement organizes events to incorporate
the student body into the athletic program.
• Chair of Community Outreach organizes events to reach out to
the greater Worcester Community.
