White Promoted To Head Athletic Trainer

Worcester, Mass. – Greg White, who has spent the last eight years as a member of the athletic training staff at Clark University, has been promoted to Head Athletic Trainer, Director of Athletics Linda Moulton has announced.

He will begin his duties effective August 2.

White served as Assistant Athletic Trainer beginning in January 2003, took over the head position on an interim basis in February 2010.

During his time at Clark, White has worked with all 17 varsity sports, designing and implementing rehabilitation and treatment of injured student-athletes, while also developing strength and conditioning programs for team and individual student-athletes.

White has also served as the Director of the Bickman Fitness Center, where he oversaw 25 student workers.

Prior to his Clark tenure, White spent time as a Staff Athletic Trainer for HealthSouth in Braintree, Mass., where he served as athletic trainer for area high schools as well as with the Brockton Rox of the Independent Can-Am League.

White is certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. In addition, White, who is also CPR certified and holds a Massachusetts Teacher Certification in physical education,  has certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in performance enhancement.

A 2000 graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts with a degree in athletic training, White earned a master’s degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2001.
