'Eat To Compete' - Nationally-Known Speaker Comes To Clark

The Clark Department of Athletics is hosting a guest speaker on Monday, September 20 it has been announced.

Tim Wierman is President of Nutrition Education Services, Inc. and creator of Eat To Compete® will speak to Clark University student-athletes about his program and the various topics that go along with living and eating healthy.

The event will take place in The Grind with female student-athletes getting his presentation from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. and the men going from 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

His speaking topics will include:

Wierman holds a Masters Degree in Nutrition Education and is member of the American Dietetic Association.

A nationally recognized speaker and published sports nutrition author, Wierman has been a guest speaker at more than 240 colleges, high schools, and professional conferences including the University of Arkansas, Clemson, Coast Guard, Duquesne, Harvard, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville and Providence just to name a few. He has competed in more than 60 triathlons including, Ironman USA.
